Connect

We'd love to meet you! Look below for upcoming events and opportunties to connect with us.

 1. Education Esquire Online Launch event.

If you've read the meet the esquire page, then you are aware of how frustrating the   American education system can be. It's amazing how negativity can spark one to embark on a journey to cultivate change. Slaying dragons and completing seemingly insurmountable tasks is never easy, comfortable, or fun. But so necessary.

In August 2018, this platform will have an online launch event where we will live stream video discussing upcoming plans for this platform and share ideas with you. We look forward to learning about what issues our readers are interested in and what type of content, topics, and ideas you have for this space.

Until the launch occurs, please feel free to contact us at educationesquire@gmail.com with any feedback. We are excited to hear from you.

In 2019, Education Esquire will have a meet up tour in cities across the country. The goal here is to connect parents, teachers, students, education lawyers, social workers, and other practitioners working in the field of education, law, and reform movements to meet, mingle, and have candid conversations about how to create positive change for students NOW.

Listening and learning are the first steps to moving the needle forward (because everyone is sick and tired of complaining about what is going on). These meet-ups are about ACTION.

“I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. ”

2. Trainings and Workshops

Starting January 2019, Education Esquire will launch a series of trainings and workshops in communities across the southeastern US with plans to expand nationwide depending on interest.

Why? Because it is vital to get accurate information to those that need it most. These trainings will focus on various demographics including parents and students particularly with respect to special education laws and promoting positive advocacy in the K-12 and university school settings. These trainings also will be conducted for social workers, court personnel such as court counselors, attorneys, guardian ad litems, etc.

If you are interested in bookings for an event or training, please email educationesquire@gmail.com

3.  Free Webinars and Modules

Knowledge is power

— Unknown

Often times, we have bad outcomes in situations not because we did not try, but because we did not know. Though many of us have been students at some point in life, the experience of "being educated" has evolved greatly in the past generation as technology advances and continues to impact how we experience the world.

As a result, we must educate ourselves in order to properly advocate for our children and ourselves. Furthermore, we must have proper information in order to provide the best outcomes for students.

In March 2019, Education Esquire will launch a series of webinars which will be called Masterclasses. These sessions will provide general information on topics with respect to K-12 federal special education law and will eventually branch out to other areas. The series will begin in the spring and will focus on topics including school discipline, annual reviews for IEP's, best practices for IEP meetings, FAQ's with respect to special education etc.

Details to come soon. Stay tuned.
